Blue Springs Caverns

We left early on Friday February 16 for our outing to Blue Springs Caverns. We spent the night in the caverns exploring the underworld. Scouts experienced caving by spending a hour crawling through tunnels. (Wild Adventure) It was an experience that some scouts really enjoyed. We also took a boat ride through the caverns and had a chance to learn a little history. Scouts found a little something on the ceiling as they slept the night away. (Bat) The next day we spent hiking around Spring Mill. Scouts took time to have a huge snow ball fight. In all it was a trip to remember. More next month as we head to Kentucky!

Mystery Outing

This outing was the famous outing that most scouts like the best. It was the mystery outing where we stayed in nice cabins at Belzer. We did a thing called a scadventure that was like a scavenger and an adventure put together. Then we went to the Indiana state museum and to Climb Time. We played a ton of football and we also went to laser tag. We went to a Butler Ball game and watched the win by 32 points. One of the nights we watch Back to the Future 1 & 2 and ate pizza with some of Mrs. Crow’s famous fudge. We were busy the whole time and were up to at least twelve o’clock each night. This was a great outing that everyone liked something about it.
